Antoinette, Mandarin Gallery Singapore

Antoinette is a Parisian patisserie owned by Chef Pang, who is a well known pastry chef in Singapore. The patisserie has become one of the most talked about pastry shop in town. I will only do a short review as Antoinette is famous for their beautiful selections of cakes & macaroons, and we didn't try any of them.

I know, guilty as charged. We thought that we would still have some room for the cakes after we finished with our entree, apparently we were wrong. The reason why I still wanted to do this review and not wait until my second visit for a more complete review was simply because I want to share to Ivy's Life's readers on how good the entree we had that day.

Their Seafood aglio olio ($26) was so gooood! Perfectly cooked in white wine sauce with olive oil, sauteed with generous and fresh mussels, scallops, squids and prawns, the spaghetti was deliciously good.It wasn't cheap and not exactly came in righteously portion, but it was worth it.

Our dessert, Pavlova ($16) came in weird presentation. It looked like a collapsed building on topped of the caramelized banana with chocolate sauce and passion fruit sorbet. Aside from the unstructured meringue, it was a good dessert, not as good as the entree we had, but good enough. The sorbet was sensational.
